Vidder’s Note: I started this video a while ago to basically show the struggle between dean and soulless!sam. I feel like all dean has ever wanted in his life is his brother — safe and happy. And he’s willing to do whatever it takes to make that happen. the lengths he had to go to bring sam’s soul back — all the heartache that it caused him meant next to nothing when he finally got to hold sam in his arms. all dean wants — all he’s ever wanted — is his brother. I tried to show that in this video. :)

If you don’t understand anything that’s going on in this video - good. I wanted to show the chaos that’s in Sam’s head where he confuses reality with illusions in his head, Lucifer with his brother who he isn’t sure even real.

Basically in my head the story went like this: Dean went to Hell and Sam couldn’t bring him back so then he makes a deal with a crossroad demon, so Dean isn’t even born, so Sam’s the only one who tries to fight this fight. But then he starts seeing this guy with Lucifer in his head, and he feels something like recognition but he isn’t sure and when he finally makes a deal (like a full circle thing) - Dean is the one who comes to the crossroad. Sort of.
